Hammer Mills Producing Airborne Fibres
In the hammer mills loose agglomerates of fibres are broken down into uniformly dispersed individual fibres in air. Our new generation of hammer mills defibrate all types of wood pulp to those fine airborne fibres which are essential in the continued production process and the quality of the end-product.

The advantages of our state-of-the art mills are obvious:

  • nit free defibration
  • lower energy consumption
  • low maintenance cost = high efficiency
  • low RPM = more durable
  • high tolerance hammers - fast change as no balancing is needed
  • prepared for usage or edge trim/recycled products

Dan-Web's hammer mills work at very high production speed and are easy to operate. After every fibre has been singlised, transport fans move the fibres from the hammer mills into the respective forming drums.
