History Founded in 1976 by pioneer John Moesgaard, Dan-Web paved the way for modern airlaid industry. A high level of creativity and entrepreneurial courage rapidly made the company a commercial success with numerous new inventions and patents filed.
In June 2007 engineering, manufacturing and design company Dan-Web was acquired by an investment group comprising the private equity company Industri Udvikling (49%) and the current Management Team (51%) counting Kurt Sørensen, Claus Bentzen, and Richard Knowlson.

With a world de-facto standard and +60 installations worldwide, Dan-Web is recognised as a professional, international organisation employing a passionate team of 80 people. Premises are located at the Risskov headquarter in Denmark, and include not only production plants but also extensive pilot facilities established to accommodate the need for continuous product development and testing of new products.
Structure The current structure of Dan-Web secures specialised in-depth knowledge within each of the established three divisions by means of independent and dedicated management teams specialising in the different fields of airlaid technology. Technical focus, knowledge sharing, strategic thinking, and marketing are vital to maintain Dan-Web's leading position in the world market.
